Elizabeth Hunter Weller
Elizabeth Hunter Weller, 94, of Greenfield, died Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at her home.
She was born June 20, 1917 in Natrona, Pa., the daughter of Andrew and Elizabeth (Kiss) Kottos.
She was a retired owner/operator of Libby’s Beauty Shop in Greenfield, and previously owned and operated the South Street Market in Greenfield, and was also a former employee of the U.S. Shoe Corp. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Greenfield and a 1934 graduate of Bainbridge High School.
She is survived by one daughter, Connie L. (Bob Lane) Mayl of Brookville; four sons, Steve (Mindy) Hunter of Greenfield, Jim (Sandy) Weller of Greenfield, John (Debbie) Weller of Greenfield, and Bob (Jean) Weller of Weiser, Idaho; 14 grandchildren, Kristen (Bill Rice) Bach, Mark (Jessie) Hunter, Julie (Greg Enyart) Mayl, Jacki (Eric) Dolan, Andy Mayl, Chuck (Kim) Weller, Gary (Andrea) Weller, Annette Weller, Jeff(Jamie Shumaker) Weller, Ryan (Jennifer) Weller, Michael (Stephanie) Weller, John Weller, Michelle Weller, and Elizabeth Weller; 15 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; one brother, Peter Kottos of Fort Myers, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Lester C. Hunter on March 16, 1960, and Charles A. Weller on April 11, 2004; one grandson, David Weller; three sisters, Helen Rowland, Julia Davis and Margaret Knisley; two brothers, Andrew Kottos and John Kiss; and both parents.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 20 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Mark Current officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and also from 10 a.m. until time of service Friday.
