Eleanor Mae Adams, 91, of Greenfield, died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2011 at Hearth & Care Nursing Center in Greenfield.
She was born Nov. 17, 1919 in Greenfield to the late Earl and Dora (Wilson) Sulcebarger.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Patton, in 1965 and her second husband, Robert Jury Adams, in 1999.
Mrs. Adams was a member of the Greenfield First United Methodist Church and a lifetime member of the McClain Alumni Association. She was a member of the McClain High School class of 1940.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews Janie (Len) Weidner of Sunbury, Barbara (Ted) Hendricks of Cincinnati, John Adams of Columbus and Tom (Kallie) Adams of Dayton.
In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Erma (Jonny) Price and a brother, Harry Ray Sulcebarger.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5, 2011 at Anderson-Strueve Funeral Home in Greenfield. The Rev. James Groves will officiate, and burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of service Friday.
