     Edythe Parshall, 101, of Hillsboro, died Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at the Heartland of Hillsboro.
     She was born Nov. 16, 1908 in Hillsboro, the daughter of the late Benton and Maude Wheelen Hopkins.
     She was a member of the Hillsboro First Presbyterian Church.
     She is survived by one brother, Robert Hopkins of Indianapolis, Ind. and two sisters, Bertha Cooper of Greenfield and Evelyn Maits of Smithfield, Ohio.
     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur “Bill” Dean Parshall on March 3, 1998; three brothers, Irwin, Harry and Vernon Hopkins; and three sisters, Doris Cook, Marcena Losey and Manotee Seaman.
     Services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 2, 2010 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Rev. Maurice Mitchell will officiate. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
