Edward McCown, 62, of West Union, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2011 at Brown County Hospital.
He was born in Lincoln, Neb. on June 12, 1948.
He was preceded in death by both parents.
He is survived by one son, William McCown of Missouri, and three daughters, Michelle, Velora, and Bobbi Jo McCown, all of Missouri; one sister, Velora Fisher of Batavia; and several nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Feb. 4, 2011 at 1 p.m. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Randy Hayslip officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday, Feb. 4, 2011 from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
