Edna D. Ward, 93, of Greenfield, died Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2011 at Hearth & Care of Greenfield.
She was born Dec. 1, 1917 in Ross County to Watt and Rachel (Cox) Beechler.
She is survived by two sons, Phillip (Kathy) Ward of South Salem and Donnie Ward of Frankfort; one daughter, Marjorie (Ralph) Yochum of Hillsboro; 17 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Ernest Beechler of Greenfield; numerous nieces and nephews; daughter-in-law Renate Ward of South Salem; and son-in-law Richard Perry of Hillsboro.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur E. Ward, on Dec. 15, 1986; three sons, Roger, Maynard and infant Darrell Ward; one daughter, Marilyn Perry; two grandsons, Neal Ward and William Perry; one daughter-in-law, Melinda Ward; five brothers; and six sisters.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Rev. Steve Wallingford officiating with burial to follow in South Salem Cemetery.
A visitation will be held 10 a.m. Saturday until time of service.
