Donald Alan Hazelwood, 59, of Hillsboro died Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012 at his home.

He was born Dec. 2, 1952 in Lebanon, the son of the late Robert and Evelyn Snyder Hazelwood.

Mr. Hazelwood was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his companion, Lin Packard; one son, Donald Lee (Kelly) Hazelwood of Logan, Ohio; one daughter, Cheryl (John) Bowling of Ashville, Ohio; nine grandchildren; and one brother, Emerson Hazelwood of Lancaster, Ohio.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Willa Mae Partlow.

Mr. Hazelwood had requested that he be cremated and no services be held. The Turner & Son Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.
