Dianna L. Tira
Dianna L. Tira, 60, of Hillsboro, died on Monday, Nov. 26, 2012 at Clinton Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Wilmington on Aug. 31, 1952, the daughter of the late Roy and Margaret (Gohs) Kratzer.
On July 24, 1980, she was united in marriage to Donald D. Tira, who preceded her in death on Jan 11, 2008. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Larry Krazter; and one brother-in-law, Larry Tira.
She was a 1970 graduate of Wilmington High School. She was employed at Kratzer’s Pharmacy and had worked at several years Bob and Carl’s. She was member of the New Life Church and Ministries, Hillsboro AMVETS Post 61 Ladies Auxiliary, and Hillsboro F.O.E. Aerie 1161 Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by daughter/best friend and son-in-law, Amanda and Jeremy Hopkins of Beavercreek; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Gray Kratzer of Somerset, Ky., George and Shelley Kratzer of Wilmington, Mark and Susan Kratzer of Wilmington, and Eddie and Rachel Kratzer of Tampa, Fla.; one sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Dan Lawson of Wilmington; three brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, James and Barbara Tira, Robert and Donna Tira, and Nancy and Steve Parry all of Hillsboro; several nieces and nephews, Kim Neal, Stephanie Kratzer-Therrien, Stephen Kratzer and Brad Henderer; two cousins Daniel Lawson and Brandy Wiget; beloved great niece, Maggie Therrien; and great-niece and nephew Morgan and Alex.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1 at the New Life Church and Ministries, 6061 S.R. 247, Hillsboro. Pastor Bill Bowman will officiate with burial to follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday, Nov. 30 from 5-8 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
