Deloris Owens, 74, of Wellston, died Sunday afternoon, Feb. 12, 2012 at Edgewood Manor Nursing Center in Wellston.

She was born Aug. 30, 1937, in Barboursville, Ky., the daughter of the late Danny and Edna (Carnes) Wagner.

She is survived by five children, Donna Wilson of Patriot, Jeanette Walters of Jackson, Paul Owens of Patriot, Myra (Michael) Bush of Wellston and Silas Owens of Patriot; seven grandchildren, Jarvis Wilson of Georgia, Nolan Wilson of Patriot, Jacob, Joshua and Caleb Bush, all of Wellston, Brittney Savits and Christopher Fooce, both of Gallipolis; four great-grandchildren, Hannah, Tyran, Sophia and Brooklyn; a brother, Rice (Rosie) Wagner of Wellston; two sisters-in-law, Lina Wagner of Pricetown and Fay Wagner of Hillsboro, as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Jessie, Preston and Raymond Wagner.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Pastor Richard Moore will officiate. Burial will follow in the Ruble Cemetery in Pricetown. Friends may call from noon until the time of the service at 1 p.m. on Thursday.
