Delner Lee Kier, 73, passed away Sept. 29, 2012.

He was born Nov. 12, 1938 in the New Market Community.

He was a retired farmer and truck driver and was a lifetime member of Eagle Lodge 1161. He leaves a host of friends.  

He is survived by a son, David Lee Kier and former wife Anna; brother Kenneth (Mary) Kier; nephew, Kenny Jr.; nieces, Elaine Wretsel and Karen Esteys; cousins, Kenneth Dean (Adel) Corwin, Irene Sprinkle and Fonda Chandler; several great nieces and nephews; special friend, Shirley Sterling Foster of Tucson, Ariz. and Sonny and Alicia of North Fort Myers, Fla.; stepdaughter, Teresa McElwee; step-grandchildren, Heather White of Milford, Courtney, Daniel, Jarred White, Bailey Cooper and William Cooper; and step-great-grandchildren, Madison and McKenzie West.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Faye Kier; infant brother, Gleason; sister, Vera Simbro and husband, Roger; and nephew, Tom Simbro.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
