David L. Elmore, 74, died Friday, Sept. 2, 2011, after a lengthy battle with cancer.
He was born March 1, 1937.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Colleen; his 98-year-old mother, Romola; a son, Bradley Elmore (Melissa); three grandchildren, Jordan, Brandon and Gabrielle Kathleen; a daughter, Stephanie Jones (Thom); and grandsons Nathan and Tyler.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel in Green Cove Springs, Fla.
The family suggests memorials to Haven Hospice. A special thanks to Haven Hospice and River Garden Hebrew Home.
Cremation arrangements are under the care of Broadus-Raines Funeral Home, 501 Spring St., Green Cove Springs, Fla. (904) 284-4000.
