David Allen Kohus, 58, of Hillsboro, died Sunday, Jan. 31, 2010 at his residence. 
He was born Oct. 18, 1951 in Cincinnati, the son of the late Louis and Lillian (Paston) Kohus.
He is survived by his wife, Carol (Lawson) Kohus; one daughter, Heather Kohus of Cincinnati; two sons Jeremy Kohus of Flushing and Jade Kohus of Hillsboro; two step-daughters, Lisa Clapp of Cincinnati and Stephanie Eakes of Oxford; one step-grandson Ridge Shorten; five brothers, Bud, John, Bill, Herb and Ron Kohus, all of Cincinnati; and one sister, Cecelia Kohus of Cincinnati.
Memorial Mass will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hillsboro. 
Father Mike Paraniuk will officiate with burial of cremains at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Hillsboro.
Memorials are suggested to donor's favorite charity.
