Darlene Chapman, 69, of Greenfield, died on Thursday, Sept. 8, 2011 unexpectedly at her home.
She was born Nov. 4, 1941 in Sinking Spring, the daughter of the late Glen and Rena Spurgeon Ryan.
She is survived by three children, Donna (Dale) Cox of Greenfield, Martin (Kim) Howland of South Salem and Kathy Johnson of Chillicothe; five grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Florence Amman and Bertha Neel, both of Hillsboro.
She was preceded in death by four children, Dorothy Iseman, Sharon May Howland, Karen Kay Howland and Robin Lynn Howland; one grandson; Shannon West; and three brothers, Robert, Clarence and Ralph Ryan.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2011 at the Anderson-Ebright Funeral Home, Greenfield (formerly Anderson-Strueve) with Rev. Wayne Combs officiating. Burial will follow in South Salem Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
