Dakota Dale Moon, 22, of Leesburg, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2012 in Whitehall, Ohio.
He was born May 27, 1990 in Hillsboro, the son of Norman Dale “Buster” and Janice Marie (Ashley) Moon.
He is survived by his mother, Jan (Eric Crabtree) Moon of Leesburg; four nieces, Katelynne Carlisle, Kyra Boyd, Courtney Johnson and Eran Johnson; two nephews, Alex Carlisle and Ron Kinzer; three aunts, Connie (Gary) Swigart of Hillsboro, Joyce (Joe) Carlisle of Point Pleasant, W.Va. and Linda (Larry) Lucas of Athens; one uncle, Ron (Pat) Ashley of Hillsboro; and grandmother, Norma Davis of Hillsboro.
He was preceded in death by his father, Norman Dale “Buster” Moon; one brother, Rocky Moon; and grandparents, Norman Dale Moon, Sr. and Harold and Helen Ashley.
Private services to be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home, 380 Jefferson Street, Greenfield, Ohio 45123.
