Clyde Allen 'Red' Boys

Clyde Allen "Red" Boys, 87, of Maineville passed away Saturday, March 24, 2012. 
Clyde and his beloved wife, Ruth Ellen Roberts Boys, had been married for 66 years. 
Clyde was born in Middletown on July 27, 1924 to the late Stanley and Leona Boys. 
His sister, Betty Tuncil, and brother, Myrl Boys, preceded him in death. 
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during World War II on the USS Rehoboth as a Machinist's Mate. Before and after the war, he was a set-up man for "The Ruth Lyons Show" on WLW. Clyde then completed his career at the Ford Motor Company, serving as a mechanic for over 29 years. 
In addition to his wife, Ruth, Clyde is survived by five sons: Michael Boys (Betty) of Loveland, Gary Boys (Cheryl) of West Chester, Stephan Boys of Maineville, Kevin Boys (Diane) of Wilmington, and Brent Boys (Lori) of Milford. 
In addition, he was proud of his 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, who loved him deeply. 
Funeral services will be held at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N. Riverside Dr., Loveland on Wednesday, March 28 at 10 a.m., where friends will be received on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Miami Cemetery in Waynesville under full military honors. 
Contributions in Clyde's memory may be made to Mason Christian Village in Mason or New Life Christian Church in Sharonville.
