Claude W. Teeters, 95, of Hillsboro, died Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012 at Heartland of Hillsboro.
He was born in Adams County on Aug. 30, 1916, the son of the late Gordon and Armelda (Smith) Teeters.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine I. (Schleiger) Teeters of 67 years of Hillsboro; two sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen and Debi Teeters of Columbus, Ind., and Tom and Ellen Teeters of Hillsboro; one daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Allen Garrison of Leesburg; four grandchildren, Lesley Horton, Brent Teeters, Ben Reno, and Megan Teeters; five great-grandchildren, George Reno, Jase Huffman, Cayden Horton, Bentley Horton, and Bailey Horton; two brothers, Scott Teeters of Hillsboro, and Dale Teeters of Washington C.H.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 16 at the Thompson Funeral Home, with Selby Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Memory Gardens.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
