Claude Sadler, 87, of Frankfort, formerly of South Salem, passed away Monday, Sept. 26, 2011 at Valley View Care Center in Frankfort.
He was born May 31, 1924 in Stockton, Calif., the son of Alma and Pearl (Carlisle) Sadler.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a radioman. He owned a TV repair shop and worked for Sears as a TV technician for 39 years. He later worked as a box boy at Bob and Carl's in Greenfield.
He is survived by one son, Anthony (Valerie) Sadler of Temple City, Calif.; one daughter, DeeAnn (Ron) Hale of Pensacola, Fla.; six grandchildren, Bryan Sadler of California, Noel (Kris) Wolfert of New Jersey, Troy, Trenton and Shontay Edler, all of Pensacola, Fla. and Viola (Jerrod) Cox of Jeffersonville; eight great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Earl (Ethel) Sadler of Brewton, Ala. and Don (Norma) Sadler of Portland, Ore.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Letitiann "Tish" Sadler, on May 13, 2008; two brothers; and both parents.
There will be no services observed.
