Charlotte Vivian Shoemaker

Charlotte Vivian Shoemaker, 84, of Sabina (formerly of New Vienna), passed away on Friday, Jan. 24, 2014 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati.
She was born in Marshall on Nov. 22, 1929, the daughter of the late Earl D. Dick and Evelyn (Grover) Dick.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Shoemaker; and a sister, Charma Pegan.
Charlotte was a member of the Marshall Presbyterian Church and a 1947 graduate of Marshall High School.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Charlene Shoemaker of Hillsboro; two sisters, Dorothy Shoemaker of Hillsboro and Donna (Bob) Armstrong of Marshall; two grandchildren, Stephanie Spinks and Jennifer (Oliver Garcia) Meija; nine great-grandchildren, Jose, Alica, Jonathon, Maria, Delores Nicole, Sabrina, Riley, Travis, and Oliver; very special friends, Steve and Teresa Moore of New Vienna; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Services will be noon Friday, Jan. 31 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Burial will follow at New Vienna Cemetery.
