Charlotte Evelyn Chamblin, 91, of Washington Court House, formerly of Greenfield, entered the presence of her Lord and King on Friday, Aug. 22, 2025.

She was a woman of deep and abiding faith.

She was born on June 17, 1934, in Beatle, Ky., the daughter of Brady and Nerva (Leadingham) Lowe.

She was a homemaker and formerly employed at the Greenfield Times.

She is survived by one son, Michael V. (Susan) Chamblin of Washington Court House; one daughter, Sharon (Jon) Martin of Pavillion, Wyoming; four grandchildren, Michael V. Chamblin Jr., Amy (Chad) Roberts, Josh (Barbara) Martin and Jenny (Nate) Schucker; two step-grandchildren, Jason Evans and Kimberly (Ken) Wilson; seven great-grandchildren, Audrey and Lyla Chamblin, Caleb, Silas and Chloe Roberts, Sawyer Martin and Lauren Schucker; three step-great-grandchildren: Austin (Ieshia) Wilson, Rheid Wilson and Rhiannon (Matt) Johnson; two step-great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Garrett (Sherry) Lowe; and one sister Darlene Riddle.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Chamblin on July 14, 2010; one brother, Tony Lowe; one sister, Susan Moore; and both parents.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Kevin Ridder officiating. Burial will follow at the Greenfield Cemetery.

Visitation will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28 at the funeral home.
