Charles Hubert Rhodus, 76, of Hillsboro, passed away Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012 at the Highlands Regional Medical Center (Hope Hospice Unit) in Sebring, Fla.

He was born in Madison County, Ky. on March 11, 1935, the son of the late Claude and Vena (Smith) Rhodus.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Claude Rhodus and one sister, Lena Rhodus.

He was a member of the Northview Baptist Church and retired after 32 years of service from Ford Motor Company in Cincinnati.

He is survived by his wife, Mary(Nichols) Rhodus, whom he married on Oct. 4, 1954; three sons and daughter-in-law, Rex and Dora Rhodus of Peebles, Roger and Sandy Rhodus of Clarksville and Brent Rhodus of Franklin; daughter, Ramona and Denver Farley of Peebles; sisters, Helen Durbin of Danville, Ky., Dorothy Rhodus of Danville, Ky and Betty Young of Stanford, Ky.; sister-in-law, Oleta Rhodus of Waynesburg, Ky.; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012 at Northview Baptist Church in Hillsboro with Pastor Kenny Cousar officiating.

Family will receive friends from noon until time of service at 2 p.m.
