Charles Edward Brewer, 77, of Hillsboro, died Friday, Oct. 19, 2012 at The Laurels of Hillsboro Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

He was born Dec. 6, 1934 in New Market, the son of the late Charles and Helen Wilkin Brewer.

He was a member of the Northside Church of Christ and had been a truck driver.

He is survived by his children, Ghila Helterbrand, Cynthia Kisamore, and Sandra (Ronald) Mullenix; wife, Pat Brewer; grandchildren, Megan Engle, Joshua Ferrin, Lindsey Mullenix, Courtney Mullenix, Katie Kisamore, and Kristen Kisamore; and great-grandchildren, Makenzie Griffith, Jaydin Griffith, Chase Duncanson, Autumn Engle, Kylie Engle, Aubrey Ferrin, and Wyatt Oberschlake.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Sheila Mae Brewer; infant son, Charles Eugene Brewer; sisters, Judy and Marilyn Brewer; and brother, Eugene Brewer.

Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home, Hillsboro. Bill Pierce of the Northside Church of Christ will officiate. Visitation will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
