Charles E. “Chuck” Anderson, Jr., 48, of Hillsboro, died Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010 at the HDH Emergency Room. 

He was born in Dayton on June 30, 1962, the son of the late Charles and Kathryn (Davis) Anderson, Sr. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Leonard Davis Anderson. 

He enjoyed fishing, carpentry and pool, was always there for anybody that needed him, and was a great friend & neighbor. He worked for John Stanforth Construction Company of Wilmington.

He is survived by his wife, Angela (Woodall) Anderson of Hillsboro; one son and daughter-in-law, Charles & Rachel Anderson III; four daughters, Melissa Anderson of Fort Hood, Texas and Dessiray Hamm, Ashlee Hamm, and Olivia Hamm, all at home; one grandson, Rylin Anderson; eight brothers, Steve (Andrea) Anderson, David (Lori) Anderson, Jeff Anderson, Mike (Sandy) Anderson, Joe (Patty) Anderson, Matthew (Jennifer) Anderson, William Anderson, James Anderson; mother-in-law, Kathleen Burden of Hillsboro; two brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, James & Amy Woodall and Christopher & Dawn Woodall; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, Oct. 10, 2010 at 8 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro, Ohio.

Friends called on Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home.
