Cassaundra Mootz, 28, of Peebles, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2012 in Piketon.

She was born in Highland County on Oct. 13, 1983.

She is survived by her parents, Glen and Sue (Hilterbran) Mootz of Peebles; one brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Melissa Stone of Peebles; maternal grandparents, Jack and Fonetta Hilterbran of Peebles; paternal grandmother, Dolores Mootz of Hillsboro; and special friend, Josh Cross of Peebles.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 16, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Danny Smalley officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Sunday from 5-8 p.m. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
