Carole O'Connor, 60, of Jamestown, Ky., died Friday, Oct. 7, 2011 at University of Kentucky Medical Center.
She was born in Adams County, Ohio on Feb. 21, 1951, the daughter of the late Shirley (Thompson) Swayne.
She attended Peebles Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Bob O'Connor of Jamestown, whom she married on Nov. 28, 1980; her father, Dean Swayne of Peebles; one son, Nathan O'Connor of Maineville; three step sons, Kevin O'Connor of Loveland, Patrick O'Connor of Spokane, Wash. and Sean O'Connor of Seattle, Wash.; two brothers, Roger Swayne of Hillsboro and Richard Swayne of Peebles; and four sisters, Deana Swayne, Cindy Pratt, Kim McCann, and Shelly Seaman all of Peebles.
Services will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 11 at 1 p.m. at the Peebles Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Peebles Church of Christ.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
