Carl F. Beck
Carl F. Beck, 82, of St. Martin, passed away at home surrounded by his family Friday, Oct. 5, 2012.
He was born Jan. 12, 1930, in Covington, Ky., the son of the late Joseph and Frances (Olinger) Beck. He was a member of the St. Angela Merici Parish, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired from the Johnson Hardin Company after 37 years of service.
He is survived by six children, Sandy Cromer and her husband Jack of Blanchester, Amy Brown and her husband Paul of Owensville, Steven Beck and his wife Deloris of St. Martin, Doug Beck of Cincinnati, Lisa McCall and her husband Gary of Bethel and Jon Beck of St. Martin; seven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mildred Schulte of Falmouth, Ky. and a sister-in-law, Flora May of Walton, Ky.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Joan (May) Beck, on June 29, 2003; four brothers, Vincent, George, Ralph and Mike Beck, and a sister, Viola Knochelman.
In keeping with his wishes, he was cremated. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 11 at the St. Patrick Catholic Church of the St. Angela Merici Parish in Fayetteville. The Rev. Hank Albietz will officiate. Burial will follow in the St. Martin Cemetery.
