Brenda Joyce Teeters Lutz, 68, of New Vienna, formerly of Leesburg, died Friday, March 16, 2012 at her home.
She was born Feb. 22, 1944 in Leesburg, the daughter of the late James and Elizabeth Wilson Stricker.
She had attended the Leesburg United Methodist Church, managed the Margie Apartments in Leesburg, and worked at Momma¹s Pizza.
She is survived by four children, Connie (Chris) Lister of Leesburg, Richard Teeters, Jr. of Greenfield, Joe (Debbie) Teeters of Washington Court House, and David (Shannon) Teeters of Washington Court House; nine grandchildren, Sarah (Danny) Foster of Oklahoma, Ciara Lister of Leesburg, Jason Teeters of Greenfield, Kamree Teeters of Greenfield, Brady Adams of Leesburg, Kaylee Runyon of Washington Court House, Bryanna Teeters of Washington Court House, Curtis (Shianne) Lister of Hillsboro, and Courtney Lister of Leesburg; 10 great-grandchildren, Tyler and Riley Mooney, Wesley and Aiden Foster, Trenton and Kenton Teeters, Leland and Halee Adams, and Chancelor and Wyatt Lister; siblings, Sandra Shoemaker of Florida, Janet Flowers of Greenfield, Francis "Frankie" Williams of Greenfield, and Steven Frazier of Florida; best friend, Kathy Hampton, of Leesburg; and good friend and neighbor, Bonnie.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Judith Phillips; and a brother, James Stricker.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, March 22 at the Turner Funeral Home, Leesburg. The Rev. Dan Cook will officiate. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Leesburg. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
