Boneeta F. Bloom
Boneeta F. Bloom, 78, of Hillsboro, died Monday, June 18 2012 at her residence.
She was born in Galeton, Pa. on July 25, 1933, the daughter of the late Baptist and Clara (Grant) Goery.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald W. Bloom on Nov. 27, 2011; and one brother, Johnny Gorey.
She was a member of the Hillsboro Bible Baptist Church.
She is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and Karen Goery of Spring Creek, Nev., John Ward of Savannah, Ga., Donald and Ruth Ward of Burkburnett, Texas and Allen Ward of Wilmington; two daughters and son-in-law, Kimberly and Dennis Morris of Savannah, Ga., and Kelly Martin of Hillsboro; two stepdaughters and husbands, Beverly and Bob Hottle of Hillsboro, and Doris and Montey Scott of Hillsboro; one sister, Ethel Allen of Pennsylvania; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; and two special nephews, Tommy and Terry.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, June 21 at the Hillsboro Bible Baptist Church with Dr. Dan Lamb officiating. Burial will follow in the New Market Baptist Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 1-2 p.m.
