Beverly “Joy” Jackman, 70, of Greenfield, passed away Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012 at her home.

She was born on Oct. 30, 1941 in Charleston, W.Va., the daughter of Charles Evans and Virginia Dare (Kincaid) Jenkins.

She was a homemaker and a 1959 graduate of the Edward Lee McClain High School.

She is survived by her husband, John O. Jackman, whom she married on Feb. 24, 1959; two daughters, Leah (Terry) Piatt and Kelli (Steve) Jackman; one son, Mark Jackman; grandchildren, John A. (Shauna) Gunter, Jamie (Jason) Brown and Joy (Levi) Brown; great-grandchildren, Kyler and Riley Smith and Kaleb Rinehart; one sister, Theresa Purdin; one brother, Steve (Linda) Jenkins; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Lori Anne Jackman; one sister, Judy Willett; and both parents.

Funeral service will be held 4 p,m. Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield. Cremation will take place.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. Sunday until time of service.
