Betty K. Frost, 99, of Hillsboro, died Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011.
She was born in Monterey on Oct. 16, 1911, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Adieuie (Fowler) Kelley.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Wilbur E. "Wib" Frost on April 29, 1978; one brother, Woodrow Kelley; and one half sister, Charma Murphy.
Betty had worked at numerous businesses in Hillsboro and loved her family and enjoyed quilting, gardening and bingo.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Sue Frost of Chillicothe; two daughters and son-in-law, Jean Frost and Jan and Gary Hammond, all of Hillsboro; two sisters, Ernestine Ludwick and Margaret Griffith, both of Hillsboro; a sister-in-law, Christine Kelley of Russellville; five grandchildren, Angela Vaughan, Kelley Condo, Greg Frost, Todd Frost and Troy Hammond; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2011 at 3 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home with Joe Pinkerton officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
