Betty Jane Morgan, 85, of Hillsboro, died Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Highland District Hospital.
She was born in Belfast, on Jan. 7, 1927, the daughter of the late Samuel and Stella Mae (Douglas) Tener.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Earl, Roy, Ralph and Russell Tener; and three sisters, Marie Ditmer, Hazel Holladay and Ruth Boyer.
On Nov. 28, 1981, she was united in marriage to Forest W. Morgan, who survives. She is also survived by two sons, James C. (Carolyn) Hamilton of Hillsboro and Anthony L. “Tony” ( Karen) Haley of Beavercreek; one daughter, Joyce (Ralph) Holt of Hillsboro; two step-sons, Dana (Wu) Morgan of Gurney, Ill., and David (Roselyn) Morgan of Holbrook, Mass.; one brother, Lewis Jr. Tener of Hillsboro; one sister, Joan Fauber of Hillsboro; five grandchildren, Tim (Janie) Hamilton, Ann (John) Yarman, Sheri Porter, Emily Holt, and Karianne (Christopher) Percell; three step-grandchildren, Kellie Ann Morgan, Kevin Morgan and Ryan Morgan; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Graveside services will be held Thursday at the Prospect Cemetery with John Porter officiating. Visitation and services will be held Thursday at the convenience of the family.
