Bertha Hopkins  Cooper, 94, of Greenfield, died Friday, March 23, 2012 at the home of her daughter in Clarksburg. 
  
She was born March 23, 1918 in Rainsboro, the daughter of C.B. Hopkins and Maude (Wheelen) Hopkins. 
  
She retired in 2007 from Hearth & Care Rehabilitation and Nursing after 44 years of service. She was also a former employee of American Pad and Textile, in Greenfield. 
  
She is survived by one son, Cody (Lisa) Cooper of South Salem; three daughters, Elinor Haynes, of Clarksburg, Shirley Lovett of Greenfield, and Diana (Mike) Hester of Washington C.H.; 17 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren, one great-great-great-grandchild; one brother, Robert (Helen) Hopkins of Indianapolis, Ind.; one sister, Evelyn Omatis of Smithfield; and numerous nieces and nephews. 
  
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oles Cooper, on June 4, 2004; one grandson, Keith Haynes; three brothers, Harry, Vernon and Irwin; four sisters, Doris, Edythe, Marcena and Manotee; two sons-in-law, Daniel Lovett and Robert Haynes; and both parents. 
  
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, March 29, at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with the Rev. Wayne Combs officiating.  Burial will follow in the South Salem Cemetery. 
  
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday. 
  
Memorials may be made to Community Care Hospice, P.O. Box 123, Wilmington, Ohio 45177.
