Bernice Marie Taylor, 73, of Greenfield, died Saturday, Dec. 26, 2009 at her home.
She was born Nov. 30, 1936 in Peebles, Ohio, the daughter of Clyde and Della (Penwell) Knisley.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by three sons, Gerald L. (Jean) Ford of Greenfield, Randy J. Ford of Greenfield, and Steven D. (Lisa) Knisley of Pikeville, Ky.; two daughters, Shelia M . Beechler of Washington C.H., Ohio and Bonnie L. (Jeff) Rogers of Greenfield; seven grandchildren, Tina Beechler of Greenfield, Cheryl (Ralph) Pedrick of Washington C.H., Steven Fryer of Hillsboro, Michael Fryer of Greenfield, Peyton V. Knisley of Pikeville, Ky., Taylor M. Rogers of Greenfield, and Vanessa Cryder of Chillicothe; 10 great-grandchildren; one brother, Arnett Knisley of Peebles; four sisters, Pauline Beekman of Greenfield, Wanda Potts of Procterville, Ohio, Ruth Kremmer of Yellow Springs, Ohio, and Louise Moore of Washington C.H.; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Taylor; two daughters, Brenda K. Knisley and Lisa M. Fryer; one son, Roger A. Taylor; one sister, Evelyan Cheek; and one brother, Everett J. Knisley, Jr.
Services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Danny Dodds officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery. A visitation is scheduled for 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2009.
