Barbara Sue (Hounshell) Smith, 63, of Bainbridge, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012 at her home.
She was born on Oct. 11, 1948 in Cincinnati, the daughter of Herman and Sally (Vancleves) Hounshell.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, David Lee (Stacey) Johnson of Greenfield and Dennis Lee (Brenda) Johnson of Cincinnati; grandchildren, Alex, Jon, Jason, Amber, Quinton, Ethan, Brianna Johnson, Johnny Endress and Joshua Goodman; great-grandchildren, Quinton Lee, Jr., Somara, John and Payton; one brother, Larry “Bubby” Hounshell of Bainbridge; three sisters, Ruth (Roger) McQuitty of Middletown, Mary (Danny) Mullins of Williamstown, Ky. and Kathy Hounshell of Bainbridge; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, C.W. Smith on Nov. 15, 2011; one daughter, Holly Smith; one sister, Carol Hounshell; and both parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 24, 2012 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Greg Trent officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
