Barbara A. Adams, 68, of Leesburg, passed away Oct. 18, 2012 as the result of an automobile accident.
She was born Dec. 30, 1943 in Columbus to the late Fern and Pearl Bay.
Barbara worked at Weastec for 12 years.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Roland Adams; children, Chrissy Cruz, Kelley Lynn Kane, Kathleen Overholser, Kenneth (Babette) Langdon and Barbi Mullins; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Patrick Kelley; and best friend, Sheryl Holsaple.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her sons, Christopher Scott Cruz and Douglas Kent Cruz; and sisters, Janet Jones, Margaret Kelley and Ronee Shields.
A memorial service was held at 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 22, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, where the family received friends for two hours prior to the service, from 5-7 p.m.
