Ashley N. Penwell, 22, of Chillicothe, died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012 in Chillicothe, the result of injuries sustained in a car accident.
She was born Feb. 9, 1989 in Ashtabula, the daughter of Donald L. Smith Jr. and Kimberly Penwell.
She is survived by her father; Donald L. Smith, Jr. of Winfield, Ala.; mother Kimberly (Joseph) Briggs of Leesburg; stepfather who helped raise Ashley, Miguel Alsina, Sr. of Ashtabula; son Tristyn Lee at home; grandparents Kenneth Penwell of Greenfield, Patsy (Wayne) Hammond of Chillicothe and Barb (Donald) Smith of New Carlisle; and brother Miguel Alsina, Jr. of Ashtabula.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, in the Ebright Funeral Home of Frankfort with Rev. Donald Ratliff officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from noon until the time of service.
