Arthur Maurice “Ruffian” Ayler, 28, of South Salem, died Sunday, June 17, 2012 at Adena Greenfield Area Medical Center.

He was born Sept. 4, 1983 in Fayette County, the son of Rudolph and Evelyn (Mitchell) Ayler, Jr.

He was a forklift operator at C-Mold of Greenfield, and in the summertime he assisted Baxter’s Pool Installation, and was a music artist through the Scribbling Idiots group, with the stage name of “Ruffian.” He was a member of Masterline Youth Ministry.

He is survived by two daughters, Janessa Dawn Ayler and Jayla Dae Ayler both of Washington C.H.; one son, Jonas Michael Ayler of Dayton; mother and stepfather, Evelyn and Robert Dement of Hillsboro; grandparents Herbert and Medrith Mitchell of South Salem; step-grandmother, Geraldene Dement of Hillsboro; one sister, Serenity “Starr” Mitchell of Wilmington; one brother, Kasey Wright of Hillsboro; one stepsister, Shaye-lyn Dement of Hillsboro; one stepbrother, Robert Dement, II of Hillsboro; two nieces, Mahqgany Collins of Wilmington; Javree Coffman of Wilmington; one nephew, Elijah Collins of Wilmington; several aunts and uncles; special friend, Chelsea Bates of Greenfield and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Rudolph Ayler, Jr.

Services will be 6 p.m. Thursday, June 21 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Bill Bowman of New Life Ministries officiating.

Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Thursday.

Memorials may be made to assist the family with expenses at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home, 380 Jefferson Street, Greenfield, Ohio 45123.
