Angela M. Waites
Angela M. Waites, 63, of Leesburg, formerly of Fayetteville, died Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009 at home.
She was born Nov. 27, 1946 in Columbus, the daughter of Louis Holden Sr., and Ruth Mary Sorg Holden.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by two children, Angeline and
her husband, Jerry Morris, of Leesburg; and Gene and his wife, Casey Waites, of Lynchburg; four grandchildren, Spenser Lemar Ryan Waites of Leesburg, and Tiffany Waites and Kaitlyn Waites of Lynchburg; two step-grandchildren Craig (Tasha) Morris of Leesburg, and Kristin (Eddie) Whittamore of Jeffersonville; four step great-grandchildren, Garrett Eugene Morris, McKenzie Marie Morris, Lexxus Yvonne Whittamore, and Kolby Whittamore; six siblings, Louis (Debbie) Holden, Jr. of Marathon, Francis (Kate) Holden of Lynchburg, Nick Holden of Fayetteville, Mike Holden of Fayetteville, Louise Rhoads of Vera Cruz, and Peter (Karen) Holden of Hillsboro; daughter-in-law Darla Holden of Newtonsville; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Waites, in 1973, and one son, Chris Holden.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22, at
the St. Patrick Chapel of the St. Angela Merici Parish in Fayetteville. Father Henry Albietz will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in the Hamer Township Cemetery. A private visitation will be held for the family.
