Alma D. Broedling, 100, of Hillsboro, died Wednesday, Feb. 29, 2012 at her residence.

She was born Aug. 4, 1911 in Allegheny County, Va., the daughter of the late David and Virginia (Baltimore) Dressler.

She was a World War II veteran of the United States Air Force, where she served as a registered nurse.

Graveside funeral services will be held noon Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at the Resthaven Memory Gardens. Military honors will be presented by the Highland County Honor Guard.

The family requests memorial contributions in lieu of flowers to the Highland County Humane Society Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 471, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133.
