Alice M. Storer Crummie passed away peacefully on Sept. 12, 2013 after a brief illness.
She was born June 20, 1923 in Hillsboro, the daughter of Grover and Grace Storer.
She was raised in Ohio, where she met and married the love of her life, Kenneth. They were married Aug. 22, 1942 and were married for 65 years before his passing Sept. 23, 2007.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy (Jim) Covert of Reno, Nev.; son Michael (Connie) Collier of Lafayette, Calif.; and four grandchildren, Keith (Jody) Covert, Kim (Randy) Kring, Daniel (Michele) Collier and Katie Collier. She is also survived by her six "great-grands," as she called them, Jacob, Emma, Bryce, Mackenzie, Quinn and Chase; one sister, Vivian Williamson of Hillsboro; and many nieces and nephews in Ohio and Florida. She will be greatly missed by her many, many friends and family.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
