Albert H. "Kite String" Baker, Sr., 70, of Greenfield, died Friday, Oct. 21, 2011 at his home following an extended illness.
He was born on Oct. 15, 1941, in Ross County, the son of the late Edward H. and Ardella Green Baker.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Alice Baker. On Aug. 26, 2008 he married the former Deborah S. Taylor, who survives.
Also surviving are his three daughters, Lillie (Tim) Lafferty, Lisa (Jack) Kincaid, Alberta Blair all of Greenfield; four sons, Albert Baker, Jr. of Lebanon, Joseph (Erin) Baker, Clinton (Cassie) Baker, Malcolm (Sandy) Baker all of Greenfield; 22 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Flint of Wilmington and Judy Miller of Washington C.H.; and three brothers, Raymond, Larry and Edward Baker all of Wilmington.
He was preceded in death by one son, one daughter, three grandsons, one granddaughter, three sisters, and two brothers.
Services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 27 at 11 a.m. at Anderson-Ebright Funeral Home, Greenfield with the Rev. Ken Burchett officiating. Burial will follow in Greenfield Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
