Lynchburg Lions Club Car Show Winners Recognized

The annual Car and Motorcycle Show sponsored by the Lynchburg Lions Club and Martinsville I.O.O.F. was held on Sunday, September 20 at the Lynchburg Lions Club Park. Awards were presented to the Best of Show winner as well as Best Ford, Best Chrysler, Best General Motors, and Best "Other" exhibitors. Plaques were also given to the "Top Twenty" winners. The weather was very rainy and participation was lower than in previous years, and the sponsors. want to thank all who participated in the show.

Lady Tiger soccer defeats London 5-0

     The McClain Lady Tiger soccer team are winners in the South Central Ohio League.

     On Thursday night, at London High School, the Lady Tigers defeated the Lady Red Raiders 5-0 for their first ever SCOL victory.

     Battling back from adversity after two straight losses, a big turnaround in the second quarter set the tone for the remainder of the game, as the McClain Tigers defeated South Central Ohio League rival Washington 34-26 on homecoming at McClain Field, Friday night.
