An air of gratitude filled the Hillsboro High School/Middle School
campus Sunday afternoon.As hundreds gathered to attend the formal
dedication held in the school auditeria, the overwhelming message from all
speakers was one of appreciation.

Timothy C. Bergen Sr., 65, of Baldwinsville, died Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009, after a short illness.

Juanita Cluxton, 76, of Hillsboro, died Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2009 at Dublin Methodist Hospital in Columbus.

Eva Stilwell, 92 of Port William, died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2009 as a result of a massive stroke.

WILMINGTON – ABX Air employees Cheryl Branham Webb and Mark P. Voorhis earned their Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) designation from the Association for Operations Management (APICS).

The Mary E. Fisher Award presented to a Highland County 4-H member who has experience in a wide variety of family and consumer science projects.

Positive Behavior Winners for the week of Aug. 31-Sept. 4

LIONS 2nd at XC Classic – Despite having three runners missing due to the Highland County Fair, the Fairfield boys Jr. High cross country  team  finished second out of 11 schools at the 10th annual Xenia Christian Ambassador XC Classic Sept. 12.
