The sun shone brightly on May 9 as McClain students and staff worked across the Greenfield community during the annual MHS Day, their efforts making the village shine even more.
Each year, the projects put together and executed by students make a huge impact on the community, and this year was no exception.
Projects for the decade-old community service day included things like washing emergency vehicles, landscaping, picking up trash, and general cleanup. Some special projects this year were reading to and doing crafts with younger elementary students and another group of MHS students making tie blankets which they later delivered to residents at a local nursing home.
