Hillsboro Police Report

These incidents have been reported by the HPD.

May 29
Austin Topping, 22, of Waverly was cited for speed.

Chelsea Campbell, 34, of Hillsboro was arrested on an outstanding warrant. 

On May 28 at approximately 11:30 a.m., the Hillsboro Police Department responded to the 100 block of South High Street for a report of a 2-car crash. Upon arrival, Jayne Martin, 65, of Hillsboro was traveling southbound on South High Street. 

Joanna Thomas, 18, of Milford was also traveling southbound on South High Street directly behind Martin when Martin came to a stop with traffic. Thomas failed to stop in time and as a result struck the rear-end of Martin. No injuries were reported on scene. Thomas was issued a citation for assured clear distance ahead.
