Hillsboro Police Report

These incidents have been reported by the HPD.

Sept. 21

Christhoper Owens, 37, of Hillsboro was cited for driving under suspension.

Christian Stamper, 30, of Lebanon was arrested on an outstanding warrant. 

Sept. 22

On Sept. 2 at approximately 10 a.m., the Hillsboro Police Department responded to the 200 block of North High Street for a report of someone trespassing. Upon arrival, a male was located sitting in a basement to the property. The male was identified as Shane Rhoads, 38, of Portsmouth. Rhoads was arrested for criminal trespassing and transported to the Highland County Justice Center. 

On Sept. 20 at approximately 4:39 p.m. the Hillsboro Police Department received a report of a two-car crash. Upon arrival, Coleton Grosvenor, 21, of Seaman and Nancy Ward, 58, of Hillsboro were traveling southbound in the 1400 block of North High Street. Ward was traveling in the center turn lane preparing to make a left hand turn in to a business. Grosvenor was traveling next to Ward and tried to enter the center turn lane as well, causing him to strike Ward. No injuries were reported on scene. Grosvenor was cited for driving in marked lanes.
