Highland County Sheriff's Report

These incidents have been reported by the HCSO.

Aug. 1
   
A deputy responded to the 1200 block of Flat Run Road after a report of theft of wheels and tires from a vehicle. This incident remains under investigation.

A resident of the 9900 block of Hardins Creek Road reported harassment. After investigation, charges are pending for a male.

Deputies responded to the 12000 block of Cameron Drive after a report of an assault. After investigation, Tiffany B. West, 28, of Greenfield, was charged with domestic violence.

Aug. 3

A resident of the 10000 block of Wolfe Road reported two juveniles tampering with their mailbox. After investigation, the juveniles were identified and spoken to along with their parents. No charges were issued.

Jonathon E. Proffitt, 52, of Hillsboro, protection order violation.

Dennis L. Sears, 43, of Lynchburg, failure to appear.

Justin D. Setty, 42, of Wilmington, having weapons under disability.
