May 9
A resident of the 1900 block of Gossett Road reported fraud.
A deputy responded to the 8200 block of state Route 73 after a report of a person attempting to vandalize a vehicle. After investigation, it was determined that no vehicles were vandalized. A male was given a warning for disorderly conduct.
A deputy responded to the 100 block of Homestead Ave. after a report of a domestic dispute. After investigation, Anthony W. Hesler, 27, of Lynchburg was charged with domestic violence.
May 10
A deputy responded to the 7700 block of Cody Road after a report of a neighbor making threats. During the investigation, it was determined that a neighbor’s dog was loose and approached the caller on his property. The neighbor identified as David S. Pearson, 56, of Hillsboro was arrested and charged with aggravated menacing after making threats of physical harm to the caller.
