Highland County Sheriff’s Report

These incidents have been reported by the HCSO.

Feb. 24
 
A deputy responded to the 8500 block of Mad River Road after a report of a truck taken from a business. The vehicle, described as a 1999 Ford F350, red in color, with mounted toolbox. The truck has no license plate. Investigation continues.

A resident of the 6600 block of Park Lane reported a domestic dispute. After investigation, it was determined to be a verbal dispute, both parties declined to pursue charges.

Feb. 25
 
Deputies responded to the 11000 block of Spruance Road after a report of a domestic disturbance. After investigation, both parties agreed to separate, no charges issued.

Tara D. Adams, 47, Leesburg, probation violation, drug paraphernalia.

Sara N. Short, 41, of Hillsboro, trafficking in drugs, possession of drugs.
