Highland County Dairy Service Unit Banquet Oct. 12

The 60th Annual Highland County Dairy Service Unit Banquet is scheduled for Monday, October 12, 2009.  The event will be held at the Wharton Building on the Highland County Fairgrounds in Hillsboro starting at 7:30 p.m.

This event annually recognizes the outstanding achievements of the dairy industry in Highland County over the past year.  Among the awards that will be presented will include premiums to the junior fair exhibitors at this year’s Highland County Fair, recognition of the top producing Holstein and Jersey cows for the past year, and the presentation of the Outstanding Dairy Youth Award.

Tickets are $9 per person and are available from any Dairy Service Unit officer or director as well as at the Extension office.
