Georgetown OSHP Post investigating fatal crash

The Georgetown Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a single-vehicle, fatal traffic crash that occurred May 28 at approximately 5:10 p.m. The crash occurred on Centerpoint Road near Frost Road in Pleasant Township, Brown County.

The preliminary investigation revealed a 2016 Ford F-150, operated by Bradley L. Ayers, 37, Georgetown, was traveling southwest on Centerpoint Road when it traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck an embankment before coming to rest.

Ayers was the only occupant in the vehicle at the time of the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The patrol was assisted with this incident by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, Georgetown Fire & EMS, Brown County Coroner’s Office, and Souder’s Towing. The crash remains under investigation at this time.
