Family, friends, and the community of Buford braved the hot weather to remember their loved ones on Memorial Day. Mr. Glenn Hess was the emcee for the program and he introduced Pastor Ken Barr of the Buford Community Church to give the invocation. Bob Hodson was the keynote speaker.

On May 4 at the 2012 Ohio FFA State Convention, Whitney Earley and Kristy Hopkins of the Hillsboro FFA received the State FFA Degree. Whitney and Kristy are seniors at Hillsboro High School.
